Who We Are
Evergreen Youth & Family Services is a private, non-profit youth and family service provider. We offer a continuum of services to keep youth safe, help them successfully transition to adulthood, and provide support to parents and caregivers.
Our services are primarily provided through three program sites based in Bemidji, MN.
We are pleased to report that our new name change is now legal! We are now officially Evergreen Youth & Family Services (but give us a few weeks for our email addresses to catch up!). Our Board believes this new name better reflects our unique service niche in the Greater Bemidji Area and region. Our logo and website domain changes will take effect in February 2012.
Who We Serve
Our Youth Shelter provides temporary housing for youth ages 9-17. On-site family counseling at the Shelter is free for area children, youth and families.
Our Community Services site provides transitional housing, family counseling, street outreach, and independent living skills to area youth and families. (See program descriptions for ages served)
Our Youth Drop-in Center serves youth and young adults ages 14-21 with free food, computer and internet access, and advice and support.
Service Area
We serve the greater Bemidji area, but offer services to youth and families from other counties and reservations (depending on the program). Don’t hesitate to call or email us with questions!
