WHAT TYPE OF HELP WILL I RECEIVE?
The goal of family meetings is to create consistent, acceptable standards of behavior, while reducing conflict in the home. Meetings can help youth and families change specific behaviors as well as the home climate.
Changes may include:
The focus of family meetings is on the relationships between family members. Each participant will need to address the question, "What can I contribute toward solving the problem?" All participants need to accept their share of the responsibility for helping to solve problems in the family.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Children, teens, and families are eligible for services. All services are free. You do not need MA or other insurance to receive services.

ABOUT EVERGREEN HOUSE AND BOB MCWILLIAMS, Ph.D.
For 25 years, Evergreen House has provided shelter, transitional housing, family counseling, and other services to youth and families in Bemidji and northern Minnesota. Psychologist Bob McWilliams received his Ph.D. from the University of North Dakota. He has worked with youth and families for more than 18 years through Evergreen House, Inc., a Bemidji-based nonprofit organization. When appropriate, referrals may be made to other Evergreen Programs or other community services and resources.
