The Evergreen Youth Recovery House’s Doors are Closing
We are sad to report that the Evergreen Youth Recovery House is closing as of August 15, 2010. As a 9-bed program, we simply couldn’t sustain the lower referrals resulting from the economic downturn. We were privileged to support many special young men on their recovery journey. We thank the community partners, treatment providers, and funders who enabled us to provide services between 2005 and 2010.
If you are a young man who had a stay at the Recovery House and would like to reach us, please contact Matt Roy, Transition Coordinator, at 218-308-0288. If you are calling about Rock Sober, please contact Matt Roy. The Rock Sober youth group will continue to meet. All others who would like to contact us, should call agency director, Becky Schueller, at 218-751-8223, x119.
Evergreen’s other programs and services remain open and ready to serve you: the Evergreen Shelter, Evergreen Community Services, and the new Youth Drop-in Center. See links on our website to these other programs and services.
