Free Services for Pregnant and Parenting Teens - 751-8223
Pregnant and parenting teens come to Evergreen House for help each year. Both teen moms and teen dads may request services.

If you are between the ages of 17 and 21, are pregnant or parenting, and live in inadequate housing or are homeless, we may be able to help you with:

  • Housing assistance
  • Case management services
  • Parenting advice and resources
  • Finding a full- or part-time job
  • Referrals to other community organizations that can help you receive supplemental food, complete your high school diploma, learn about child development, and more.

Sometimes teens are unable to remain at home after they become pregnant or once their baby is born. Teens who lack housing or are living in very overcrowded or inadequate housing may be eligible for housing assistance through Evergreen. You will be asked to complete an intake packet so that we can decide whether our services are appropriate for your situation. Call us at 751-8223 and ask for Amanda. If you are accepted into the program, our Off Site Case Manager will meet with you to develop a plan to address your personal goals. Teens are required to meet with the Off Site Case Manager once a week during the time they are receiving help.

Housing Assistance Services

Evergreen's Housing Case Managers can help you:

  • Find an apartment and check it out
  • Help you pay for application fees, damage deposits, and partial rent costs for up to 3 months. Teens must be able to pay partial rent costs for the first few months, and then full rent costs for the 4th month and beyond.
  • Acquire independent living skills.
  • Find a full- or part-time job.
